Job description

We’re looking for a Go Backend Software Engineer to help design, build, and operate backend services and infrastructure APIs for a large‑scale, sovereign cloud platform. You’ll work across cloud‑native distributed systems, Kubernetes, databases, and CI/CD tooling to ensure a secure, scalable, and highly available environment.

Requirements:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Go (Golang) development.

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining high-performance, large-scale APIs or microservices.

  • Strong knowledge of distributed architectures, concurrency, networking principles, and database concepts.

  • Practical experience with Kubernetes, containerized environments, monitoring/observability solutions, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve performance, stability, and production-related issues.

  • Good communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with integrating AI-powered tools into everyday development processes.
