About the Role:

The Contacts Team owns several customer-facing CRM capabilities including Tags, Documents/Files, Notes, contact information, segmentation, and related experiences.

We are looking for an SDE-2 Full Stack Engineer who can work comfortably across frontend and backend systems and take ownership of features from API implementation through customer-facing UI.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and reliable CRM experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development

● Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS or similar frameworks.

● Design REST APIs for customer-facing product capabilities.

● Work with databases, caching, and asynchronous processing.

● Optimize APIs and queries for performance and scalability.

Frontend Development

● Build responsive and performant interfaces using Vue.js and TypeScript.

● Develop reusable components for CRM experiences.

● Build interfaces dealing with lists, filters, search, files, notes, tags, and large datasets.

● Integrate frontend applications cleanly with backend APIs.

End-to-End Feature Ownership

● Understand product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

● Own features across database/API/UI layers.

● Participate in technical design and API-contract discussions.

● Test and deploy features and monitor their behavior in production.

Quality & Reliability

● Write maintainable and testable code.

● Participate in code reviews.

● Debug frontend and backend production issues.

● Improve performance, reliability, and usability of existing features.

● Contribute to monitoring and observability.

Required Skills & Experience:

● 3+ years of software development experience.

● AI First approach while Design, Development and Debugging

● Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.

● Backend experience with Node.js.

● Frontend experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular.

● Experience designing/consuming REST APIs.

● Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

● Understanding of component-based frontend architecture.

● Experience with Git, CI/CD and automated testing.

● Good understanding of frontend and backend debugging.

● Ability to independently deliver medium-complexity features.

Nice to have:

● Experience working on high-scale SaaS products.

● Vue 2/Vue 3 and Pinia/Redux/anything

● NestJS.

● MongoDB/Firestore.+

● Redis.

● Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.

● Docker/Kubernetes/GCP.

● Micro-frontend architecture.
