Healthcare Staffing & Locum Tenens

You're looking for a new opportunity but you don't know where to start. You're looking to still do what you love—practice medicine—but you want more freedom. You're looking for something different, plain and simple. You've found it. With us you have the opportunity to practice in a variety of locales around the globe. It’s true. You can choose when and where you want to practice. Maybe you want to pick up some shifts around the U.S. We can help with that. Or maybe you have a bad case of wanderlust and want to explore overseas. We can help with that, too. Both short-term and longer-term assignments are always available. You can go from residency to practice, from full-time practice to part-time practice and from one practice to another. You can see how doctors in different practice settings, different cities, and even different countries deliver care. Don’t be burdened by the details. We handle all that so you're free: free to treat patients, free to build your knowledge, free to earn a competitive living and enjoy practicing medicine—without worrying so much about the business of medicine. For over 20 years we’ve been helping doctors like you experience somewhere new. Yes. Your profession and your adventures can coexist—no matter where you practice.

Our industry is growing and demand is high. This means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to grow and develop in your career. Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for developing relationships with named health system accounts to support Krewe’s business development efforts.  The role is best suited for an intelligent, curious and versatile sales professional who can quickly understand complex healthcare organizations, identify anesthesia workforce challenges and engage decision makers and influencers within their named accounts.  The Business Development Specialist manages new client opportunities and advances those opportunities through the sales process using strong business acumen, sound judgment and an adaptable approach based on each client’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a defined portfolio of named healthcare accounts with responsibility for creating new business opportunities and client relationships.
  • Research assigned accounts to understand organizational structure, anesthesia delivery models, key decision-makers, current staffing challenges and potential opportunities for Krewe.
  • Build relationships with clinical, operational and financial leaders, and other senior decision-makers.
  • Consistently prospect into assigned accounts through phone, email, LinkedIn and other appropriate channels to generate meetings and new opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with multiple stakeholders within target accounts and navigate complex health system decision-making structures.
  • Use market intelligence, benchmarking, surveys, educational content and other resources to create relevant conversations with prospective clients.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand anesthesia staffing models, workforce challenges, financial considerations and organizational priorities.
  • Understand Krewe’s staffing and workforce solutions and determine which approach best fits each client’s needs.
  • Develop and execute account plans that move opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, contracting and implementation.
  • Collaborate with recruiting, provider services, credentialing and other internal teams to evaluate opportunities and develop solutions that can be successfully delivered.
  • Partner across CHG teams and business units to identify relationships, intelligence and resources that can accelerate opportunities within targeted health systems.
  • Maintain accurate and timely account, contact, activity and opportunity information within the CRM.
  • Manage sales activity and pipeline against established performance expectations, including prospecting activity, meetings, opportunities, contracts and new business.
  • Participate in sales meetings, pipeline reviews, account strategy discussions and ongoing sales training.
  • Represent Krewe professionally at industry conferences, client meetings and other business development activities.
  • Maintain and protect confidential company, provider and client information.

Qualifications:

  • Strong intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly understand complex organizations, business issues and healthcare workforce challenges.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to engage confidently and credibly with senior healthcare leaders.
  • Strong discovery and problem-solving skills, including the ability to ask thoughtful questions and identify underlying business issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptable and versatile, with the judgment to adjust communication style and approach based on the audience, opportunity and situation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and a complex sales cycle.
  • Self-motivated, accountable and comfortable working within a performance-driven sales environment.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across internal teams.
  • Coachable, with the ability to test new approaches and continuously improve performance.

Education & Years of Experience:

  • College-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience in business development, sales, account development or a related client-facing role, with demonstrated success developing new relationships and generating business opportunities.
  • Experience working within a structured sales process and CRM environment.

Preferred Skills:
