Job description

Work closely with the business and the Product Team!

We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our Product team and help maximise the value created by cross-functional product team. You will turn an agreed product direction into clear priorities, testable decisions and valuable product increments.

The role connects client and user needs with day-to-day product decisions, ensuring that the team understands what it is trying to achieve, why it matters and how success will be evaluated.

About Droids On Roids ⚡️

At the beginning of 2025, Droids On Roids joined forces with Apadmi, a European digital products company specialising in mobile. We create digital experiences that generate measurable value for organisations and their customers. Our group brings together Product, Design, Engineering, Data and AI, Delivery and Growth capabilities across operating companies.

As Apadmi scales, Product is becoming one coherent group capability: shared standards, careers, methods and investment, applied with meaningful authority close to clients and teams.

You will be:

  • Translating agreed product goals into an outcome-led roadmap, clearing priorities and an actionable backlog.
  • Deciding the order of work by balancing customer value, business outcomes, technical feasibility, delivery cost, evidence and risk.
  • Accepting, rejecting, deferring or reshaping work within agreed product goals and decision rights.
  • Defining success measures and ensuring appropriate analytics, feedback and validation are planned.
  • Making routine product decisions with the client and team, escalating material strategy, budget or commercial changes.
  • Maintaining clear product decisions, assumptions, dependencies and scope changes.

Your accountabilities and expected outcomes:

Product outcomes and value

  • The team understands the product goal, intended users and measures of success.
  • Priorities maximise customer value while balancing business outcomes, technical feasibility, delivery cost, evidence and risk—not stakeholder seniority.
  • Each release or increment has a clear value hypothesis and intended outcome, and is ready for incremental delivery.

Roadmap, backlog and scope

  • The roadmap expresses outcomes and decisions rather than a fixed feature commitment.
  • The backlog is linked to product objectives, understandable, appropriately refined and ordered around the most valuable next decisions.
  • Scope changes and de-scoping decisions are documented, visible, justified and communicated.

Discovery, validation and data

  • Facilitation of product discovery and definition workshops, alongside in depth requirements gathering, ensuring stakeholder alignment and preparing the product for successful delivery.
  • Design and UX Research collaboration builds understanding of customer behaviours, pain points, opportunities and important assumptions before disproportionate investment.
  • Product KPIs are defined and monitored using product analytics, customer insight and relevant market evidence.
  • Experimentation, A/B testing and hypothesis validation reduce uncertainty and improve product decisions and outcomes.

Client and team collaboration

  • Trusted stakeholder relationships are built through transparent decisions, with clear priorities, trade-offs, dependencies and product performance.
  • Workshops align stakeholders and the cross-functional team around product vision, priorities, assumptions, trade-offs and outcomes, providing context to solve problems rather than simply implement instructions.
  • Product, Design, Engineering and Delivery accountabilities are understood and respected.

Release and in-market learning

  • Release scope is connected to product goals and meaningful measures.
  • Business acceptance, launch dependencies and product risks are addressed at the right time.
  • In-market performance, customer outcomes, commercial impact, delivery cost, feedback and incidents inform continuous improvement and future prioritisation.

Capability contribution

  • Useful learning, examples and tools are shared with the Product community.

You would be great for this if:

  • You have owned priorities and backlog decisions for a digital product or value stream.
  • You can connect user needs and business goals to clear product decisions.
  • You can define and monitor KPIs and success measures, using product analytics, customer insight and feedback to inform decisions.
  • You have practical experience applying product discovery techniques, customer research, iterative validation and digital-product delivery.
  • You write and communicate clear outcomes, requirements, acceptance criteria and trade-offs.
  • You build collaborative relationships with clients, helping them make informed product decisions and working constructively with cross-functional teams.
  • You can challenge assumptions respectfully and make decisions within agreed authority.
  • Experience with mobile or app-based products is valuable.

What you additionally get:

  • The opportunity to shape real products and client outcomes,
  • A collaborative Product community within Apadmi and opportunities to develop your Product practice through knowledge sharing,
  • Real ownership of product priorities and decisions,
  • Continuous improvement through feedback, learning and evidence.
