About the role

We're looking for experienced healthcare systems professionals to help evaluate and improve AI models that support clinical operations, administrative workflows, and healthcare technology. Your expertise in healthcare systems, care delivery, and operational processes will help ensure AI produces accurate, practical, and workflow-aware outputs. You'll review real-world scenarios, evaluate AI-generated responses, and provide the expert feedback that makes these systems more reliable for providers, staff, and patients.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with real-world healthcare operations.
  • Review scenarios involving electronic health records (EHRs), clinical documentation, care coordination, scheduling, referrals, revenue cycle, and patient access workflows.
  • Assess AI outputs for consistency with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and operational best practices.
  • Apply structured evaluation guidelines to annotate model responses and identify errors, omissions, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback that helps improve AI performance across complex healthcare workflows.
  • Evaluate AI handling of interoperability, health information exchange, and healthcare data management concepts.
  • Bring your real-world experience to help shape safer, more trustworthy AI systems for healthcare.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in healthcare operations, healthcare technology, health information management, clinical informatics, revenue cycle, or a related healthcare systems role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows across hospitals, health systems, ambulatory care, or specialty practices.
  • Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) platforms such as Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, athenahealth, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, CCD/C-CDA, or other health data exchange frameworks.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and CMS requirements, and their impact on healthcare operations.
  • Strong written English and the ability to communicate complex operational and technical concepts clearly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment when evaluating AI-generated content.

Nice to Have

  • Experience implementing, optimizing, or administering healthcare technology systems.
  • Background in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, digital health, or healthcare transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with quality improvement, workflow optimization, or healthcare process redesign.
  • Familiarity with healthcare analytics, population health, or value-based care programs.
  • Experience supporting AI, automation, or clinical decision support technologies in healthcare settings.
  • Relevant certifications such as CAHIMS, CPHIMS, RHIA, RHIT, PMP, Epic certification, or equivalent.

Compensation

This is a contract, project-based position. The hourly rate will depend on experience and project parameters. The rate will be disclosed prior to starting the project.
