Position: Audiobook QA Expert — Portuguese (Brazil)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15–$20/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in Brazilian Portuguese and assess narration quality, accuracy, and enjoyment.
• Spot and log errors in synthesized speech, including mispronunciations and unnatural phrasing.
• Categorize issues and mark their exact span using our review tooling.
• Report on overall listener satisfaction and identify natural versus disruptive narration moments.
• Work consistently across many hours of audio, maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in Brazilian Portuguese.
• Experience as an active audiobook listener with opinions on quality.
• Working knowledge of English for reporting and communication.
• Experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, or similar detail-oriented work.
• Reliable availability for 20 hours/week on a part-time basis.

Preferred

• Experience with AI training-data, model-evaluation, or audio/QA annotation projects.
• Background in language, editing, voice, or audio production.
