The Field Application Specialist is responsible to provide pre- and post-sales application support, conduct product demonstrations and customer training, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with Sales and customers to develop and implement effective laboratory solutions.

This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is part of the Application and Marketing team located in Taiwan and will be working remotely with as required meetings/trainings in the main office.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Integrate instruments, including installation, assays, and connectivity solutions into customer laboratories, and support customers throughout evaluation and implementation.
  • Develop account strategies jointly with Sales Representatives to grow new business and retain existing customers.
  • Follow standard work for documentation and customer complaint handling to help ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain installation and customer management databases with accurate, complete activity traceability.
  • Actively support pre-sales activities such as conduct technical seminars and presentations, technical troubleshooting, customer training, and collaborative application development.

The essential requirements for the job include:

  • Master’s degree in biotechnology, immunology, life sciences, biological sciences, or a related scientific field.

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience, including experience in flow cytometry, laboratory automation, or an Application Specialist role.

  • Demonstrated ability to install, operate, demonstrate, and troubleshoot scientific instrumentation, software, assays, or related laboratory solutions.

  • Ability to work independently in a field-based customer support role and to deliver technical training, seminars, and presentations.

  • Availability for frequent domestic and international business travel.

Travel, Environment requirements:

  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory and internationally, including overnight travel as business needs require.

  • Ability to work at customer laboratories, trade shows, workshops, and other field locations.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in the field of immunology , genomic and Cell biology is a plus

  • Experience in the field of cell therapy or biopharma is a plus.
