Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain management of specialty medications and related clinical supplies used across the organization’s infusion clinics and physician offices. This includes high-cost infused and injected therapies serviced in the infusion clinics and physician-administered medications such as Botox.

The role oversees medication procurement, inventory management, purchasing controls, par-level optimization, drug availability, product transfers, shortage management, waste reduction, and supply chain reporting across multiple practice locations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain appropriate ordering processes and purchasing controls across wholesalers, specialty distributors, manufacturers, and other approved vendors.

· Evaluate purchasing patterns, utilization trends, lead times, and clinic schedules to determine appropriate medication ordering quantities.

· Ensure medications are purchased through approved vendors and accounts and in accordance with organizational purchasing policies.

· Partner with finance, pharmacy, and manufacturer relations leadership to evaluate purchasing opportunities, contract performance, and acquisition-cost trends.

· Develop and maintain standardized inventory management processes across infusion clinics and physician offices.

· Conduct or coordinate routine physical inventory counts and reconciliation.

· Investigate inventory discrepancies and develop corrective action plans when necessary.

· Manage product transfers between locations when operationally and legally appropriate to prevent waste and improve medication utilization.

· Maintain inventory controls for medications that require special handling or storage.

· Support supply-chain integration of newly acquired practices and new infusion locations.

· Assess existing drug inventory, vendors, purchasing accounts, storage capabilities, and inventory workflows.

· Coordinate transition to organizational purchasing standards and approved vendors.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of healthcare supply-chain, medication inventory, pharmacy operations, infusion operations, physician-practice operations, or related experience.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Experience managing multiple locations or a decentralized inventory environment.

• Experience with specialty pharmaceutical wholesalers or distributors.

• Ability to analyze medication utilization and translate demand into purchasing and inventory requirements.

• Strong understanding of inventory controls, purchasing processes, and medication expiration management.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment & Location:
This position will be remote, with 30% travel required for site visits, training, and team meetings.
