Director of Accounting

Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations while influencing organizational strategy and growth initiatives.

What You'll Do

As Director of Accounting, you'll provide leadership and oversight for all accounting activities across the organization and its subsidiaries. You'll drive process improvements, maintain strong financial controls, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading all accounting operations and financial reporting activities.
  • Producing accurate financial statements and evaluating accounting data.
  • Managing the annual external financial audit process.
  • Overseeing monthly financial close activities and quarterly Call Report preparation.
  • Developing, enhancing, and enforcing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Providing technical accounting guidance related to GAAP, regulatory matters, and organizational initiatives.
  • Supporting merger and acquisition activities, including accounting conversions and financial analysis.
  • Supervising federal, state, and local tax reporting requirements.
  • Partnering with leaders across the organization to achieve financial objectives and improve processes.
  • Building, coaching, mentoring, and developing a high-performing accounting team through succession planning, delegation, and professional development efforts.

Qualifications
