We are currently seeking an Automation Product Manager, Japan who will be responsible for leading market strategy, portfolio growth, and commercialization planning for Beckman Coulter Life Sciences' Automation portfolio in Japan.

This position is part of the Japan Marketing team located in Tokyo, Japan and will be remote.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Lead market assessment, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, positioning, and marketing strategy development for the Automation portfolio in Japan to identify growth opportunities and support business planning.
• Create and execute launch plans for new products and applications while driving the successful commercialization of the Automation portfolio in collaboration with global product management teams.
• Drive business performance through market analysis, competitive assessment, customer insights, forecasting, pricing strategy, and portfolio management.
• Represent the voice of the customer and advocate for Japan market requirements through close partnership with global stakeholders to influence product roadmap and business strategy.
• Partner with Commercial Marketing by providing customer insights, market intelligence, positioning, and value propositions to support demand generation and commercialization activities.
• Develop and deliver product, application, and commercial training programs that enable sales teams and channel partners to succeed.
• Partner effectively with Sales, Field Applications, Service, Commercial Marketing, RA/QA, Supply Chain, and Global Business Units to achieve business objectives and customer success.

The essential requirements for the job include:

• Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of product management or product marketing experience within the life sciences industry.
• Experience developing and executing marketing strategies, market development initiatives, and go-to-market plans for scientific instruments, automation solutions, or related technologies, with the ability to understand customer research workflows and scientific applications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize market, financial, and commercial data to drive business decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 10-15% domestically and internationally as required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Laboratory automation, liquid handling, cell analysis, cell culture, automated workflows, or related applications.
• Experience managing KOL relationships and driving market development programs.
• MBA or other advanced business education.

Automation Product Managerは、日本市場におけるAutomation製品群（Biomek、Echoおよび関連ソリューション）の市場戦略、ポートフォリオ成長、および市場展開計画をリードします。

本ポジションは、日本市場における製品戦略、需要創出、製品ライフサイクルマネジメント、新製品導入および事業計画の策定・実行をリードするとともに、グローバルチームや国内の関連部門と連携しながら顧客価値の最大化と事業目標の達成を推進します。

本ポジションはマーケティング本部に所属し、東京を拠点とするリモートワークポジションです。

この役割では、以下の業務を行います:

• 市場機会を特定し事業計画を支援するため、市場分析、顧客セグメンテーション、競合分析、ポジショニングおよびマーケティング戦略立案をリードする。
• 新製品および新アプリケーションの上市計画を策定・実行し、グローバル製品マネジメントチームと連携しながら製品導入を成功に導く。
• 市場分析、競合分析、顧客インサイト、販売予測、価格戦略およびポートフォリオマネジメントを通じて事業成長を推進する。
• 顧客の声（VOC）を収集・分析し、日本市場のニーズをグローバルチームへ発信することで、製品ロードマップや事業戦略の形成に貢献する。
• Commercial Marketingと連携し、顧客インサイト、市場分析、ポジショニングおよび価値提案を提供することで、需要創出および市場展開活動を支援する。
• 営業担当者および販売代理店向けに、製品・アプリケーション・営業活動に関するトレーニングを企画・展開し、営業力強化を支援する。
• Sales、Field Applications、Service、Commercial Marketing、RA/QA、Supply Chain、Global Business Unitなどの関係部門と連携し、事業目標達成および顧客満足向上を推進する。

この仕事の必須条件は以下の通りです:

• ライフサイエンス、バイオテクノロジー、化学、工学、薬学または関連分野の修士号以上を有すること。
• ライフサイエンス業界において、5年以上のプロダクトマネジメントまたはプロダクトマーケティング経験を有すること
• 理化学機器、ラボオートメーション、または関連ソリューションに関するマーケティング戦略、市場開発施策、および新製品上市計画の立案・実行経験を有し、顧客の研究ワークフローおよびアプリケーションを理解できること。
• 市場データ、財務データおよび事業データを活用した分析・意思決定能力を有すること。
• 日本語および英語による優れたコミュニケーション能力（口頭・文書）を有すること。

出張要件

業務上、国内外への出張が発生します（10〜15%程度）。

歓迎要件

• ラボオートメーション、リキッドハンドリング、細胞解析、細胞培養、自動化ワークフローに関する知識または実務経験。
• KOLマネジメント、市場開発、製品導入活動の経験。
• MBAまたは同等のビジネス教育・研修経験
