If you have customer-service experience and are comfortable working independently from home, this opportunity allows you to support established nonprofit fundraising campaigns by assisting donors who call in to make pledges and contributions.

There is no cold calling and no outbound solicitation. Donors initiate the conversation—you provide the professional support needed to complete it.

This opportunity is focused entirely on inbound donor support.

You will not:

• Make outbound calls
• Cold-call potential donors
• Contact people asking them to donate
• Search for prospective donors
• Sell products or services

Donors have already chosen to call after responding to an established nonprofit campaign. Your responsibility begins when you answer their inbound call.

What You’ll Do

As a Pledge Support Specialist, you will:

• Professionally answer incoming donor calls
• Follow campaign-specific scripts and procedures
• Accurately process pledge and donation information
• Verify donor and transaction details
• Enter information into designated computer systems
• Navigate multiple screens while communicating with callers
• Protect confidential information
• Follow established compliance and quality requirements
• Maintain dependable attendance and performance
  

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

Applicants must have:

• A high school diploma or GED
• At least six months of remote customer-service experience or one year of onsite customer-service experience
• Strong verbal communication and active-listening skills
• Accurate data-entry and basic computer skills
• The ability to navigate multiple systems while speaking
• Professional and dependable work habits
• A quiet, dedicated home workspace

Technical Requirements

Before servicing, contractors must have:

• A Windows 11 computer
• At least 8GB of RAM; 16GB is recommended
• A USB headset with noise cancellation
• Wired high-speed internet
• A direct Ethernet connection
• A quiet, distraction-free workspace

Dual monitors are recommended

MacBooks, Chromebooks, tablets, and Wi-Fi-only connections are not permitted.

• Contract rates generally range from $13–$15 per hour
