Bilingual Virtual Front Desk Receptionist (Tebra EMR | English & Spanish)

Work Arrangement: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM MT + Saturday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM MT
Hours: 46 hours per week
Languages: English & Spanish

About the Role

One of our U.S.-based healthcare clients is looking for an experienced Bilingual Virtual Front Desk Receptionist to provide remote front-desk and administrative support to their healthcare practice.

The ideal candidate will have strong patient communication skills, experience working in U.S. healthcare, and hands-on experience using Tebra for healthcare administrative tasks.

At least 3 years of experience working in U.S. healthcare and hands-on Tebra experience are REQUIRED for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming patient calls and handle inquiries professionally.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
  • Process and coordinate email referrals.
  • Verify patient insurance and eligibility.
  • Support referral and care coordination activities.
  • Assist with medical billing-related administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
  • Assist the nurse practitioner with administrative tasks within the EHR.
  • Follow up on referrals and outstanding documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish.
  • Provide general virtual front-desk and administrative support to the healthcare team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working in U.S. healthcare – REQUIRED.
  • Hands-on experience using Tebra – REQUIRED.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Virtual Medical Receptionist, Front Desk Coordinator, or Healthcare Administrative Assistant.
  • Previous experience supporting a U.S.-based healthcare practice, provider, or healthcare organization.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and patient communication.
  • Comfortable working with EHR/EMR systems and healthcare software.
  • Experience with behavioral health or medical practices is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • Reliable computer, internet connection, and professional workspace.
