Position Overview

The AI Engineering Strategist is a hands-on AI systems builder with broad transformation expertise and deep ownership of workflow design and technical delivery. This person owns the full lifecycle of complex client solutions—from uncovering the underlying business problem and redesigning how work gets done through architecture, development, testing, deployment, adoption, and final presentation. Combining strong engineering capabilities with sound business judgment, this person turns ambiguous challenges into production-quality AI solutions that users adopt and that deliver meaningful impact. The role also strengthens the broader team through reusable patterns, components, and documentation. Key Responsibilities

  • Redesign how work gets done by uncovering the real pain point and building customer-centric AI solutions that fit naturally into users’ workflows, drive adoption, and deliver meaningful impact.
  • Build production-quality AI agents using tools such as Claude, OpenAI, and other leading platforms.
  • Architect scalable solutions, including LLM integrations, natural language interfaces, and automation platforms.
  • Work with enterprise data and apply knowledge of prompt engineering and data models to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions.
  • Evaluate new orchestration platforms and AI tooling as they emerge, producing clear assessments and adoption recommendations for the team.
  • Present AI solutions confidently to client stakeholders, including translating technical decisions into plain business language for executive audiences.
  • Contribute reusable patterns, components, and documentation that elevate the team's collective capability and make delivery more consistent.
  • Provide constructive guidance to the delivery team, and model strong documentation, SOP, and delivery standards across the team.


Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI or automation development, data, or a related field, including hands-on experience building and shipping AI agents or LLM-powered applications.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM platforms and AI agent tools including applied knowledge of prompt engineering
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data.
  • Demonstrated ability to own technical projects end to end, ideally in a client-facing or consulting environment.
  • Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate or discuss an AI solution they personally built, including the business problem, their individual contribution, the architecture, testing and failure handling, and the measurable outcome or user impact.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and evolving AI landscapes.
  • Proficient working with data models, automation frameworks, and AI-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, or other programming languages.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
