Job Title: Senior Account Manager – Spain & Portugal (Operations & Optimization Portfolio)Location Spain (preferred: Madrid/Barcelona) — covering Iberia (Spain & Portugal) (hybrid/remote as applicable)Employment Type: Full-timeThe job As a Senior Account Manager for Spain & Portugal, you’ll grow our Operations & Optimization portfolio across Iberia by expanding strategic existing accounts and winning new customers in a highly competitive market. You’ll build trusted, C-level relationships, uncover business-critical needs, and translate them into value-led software solutions that deliver measurable operational impact. You’ll work closely with pre-sales, marketing, partner teams and customer success, in a collaborative team that values ownership, curiosity and doing the right thing for customers.Key responsibilities
  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts in Spain and Portugal, driving renewals, upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Identify, qualify and win new logo opportunities through proactive prospecting and targeted account planning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders (C-level) and key influencers across customer organizations.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle (discovery, value positioning, proposals, negotiation and closing) in partnership with internal teams.
  • Develop and execute an Iberia territory plan with accurate forecasting, pipeline hygiene and clear prioritization.
Essential requirements
  • 10+ years of successful B2B industrial software sales experience (enterprise/strategic accounts), ideally in Spain and/or Portugal.
  • Proven track record of growing existing accounts (upsell/cross-sell) while also consistently winning new logos (“hunter-farmer” mix).
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders and to sell on business value/ROI.
  • Strong industrial market understanding (operations-focused environments) with the ability to speak credibly with technical and business audiences.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a strong advantage).
