The ability to measure and evaluate the impact of public relations efforts is critical to ensuring the success of any marketing and/or public relations campaign. In the Social Media Metrics and ROI course, students will learn how to track, report, and analyze a variety of metrics that describe audience behavior and attitudes. In the course, students will learn how to use numeric information to describe and explain performance in relation to campaign goals and objectives. Students will examine quantitative and qualitative measurements to help provide context for audience search trends, website traffic, and social behavior such as sharing content. In addition to exploring these metrics, students will also learn how to integrate these measures into their professional planning. The course will provide students with an understanding of both traditional and contemporary metrics and reporting tools for analyzing data. Ultimately, students will learn how to develop and create reports, which will develop a stakeholder's understanding and confidence in the public relations process. This position is part time working no more than 20 hours per week, online and must be resident in the state of Florida.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Competencies:
Education and/or Experience:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years related and verifiable work experience in journalism, publishing, multimedia distribution, digital publishing and communications. The minimum degree requirement is a Master’s degree, terminal degree preferred, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field from an accredited college or university.

• Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Keynote/PowerPoint and Outlook
• Broad base of knowledge of journalism, digital publishing, multimedia distribution and communications
• Must have strong social media skills
• Experience with public speaking and giving presentations as well as designing presentations
• Ability to interact professionally and constructively with students and staff at all levels in an immersive, fast-paced environment
• Teaching experience online and experience teaching on a campus
• Experience using Screen-capture web tools or software that allows for recording voice and screen
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office and classroom environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active student and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to; bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping and lifting up to thirty (30) pounds.
