About the Role

The Specialist, Learning & Development supports the success of employees across assigned business functions by creating and facilitating training and onboarding programs. You’ll help new hires transition smoothly, enhance existing team skills, and identify areas for improvement that align with Esquire’s commitment to delivering exceptional service. This role combines hands-on leadership, collaboration, and a passion for developing others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create structured onboarding plans to ensure seamless transitions for new hires.
  • Execute onboarding and training programs within assigned business functions.
  • Develop and deliver training programs focused on technical accuracy, customer service, and adherence to company policies.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
  • Facilitate instructor-led sessions to address performance gaps and organizational changes.
  • Maintain and update training materials in Esquire’s content and learning management systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to update and improve learning content.
  • Work with the centralized Learning & Development team to manage e-learning content.
  • Help define and implement quality standards for employee performance.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance the client experience.
  • Report training updates and performance concerns to stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits to assess performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Provide short-term, on-site leadership during staffing transitions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for departmental procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years at Esquire or in relevant functional areas; 5+ years in customer service.
  • Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Confluence; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Other: Must maintain regular attendance and be able to travel as needed.
