About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Catalog Manager to create item setups, maintain catalog and great looking product detail pages, and fix catalog issues across Amazon, Walmart and Target marketplaces. This position reports to the Merchandising & Operations Manager and will work to support our Merchandising & Operations specialists across each platform.

The Catalog Specialist is an expert with Amazon catalog management and item setup/maintenance. They may or may not have experience also working on Walmart and Target. They are responsible for creating and uploading item setup bulk feed files, ensuring changes go through and fixing listing issues with persistence and detail. It is a vital role that lays the foundational catalog work for the rest of the team and ensures the brand has best in class product listings.

Responsibilities

  • Catalog & Listing Management: Manage end-to-end Amazon listings including creation, optimization, and variation setup.

  • Catalog Health & Data Quality: Ensure listing accuracy, resolves errors, and maintains clean, compliant catalog data.

  • Amazon Platform Expertise: Experienced in Seller Central/Vendor Central workflows, policies, and bulk catalog tools.

  • SEO & Product Visibility Optimization: Optimize listings for search ranking, keyword relevance, and conversion performance.

  • Data & Analytical Skills: Use Excel and reporting tools to track performance and maintain catalog accuracy.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Identifies and resolves listing errors, suppressions, and variation issues

  • Operations & Process Management: Manage bulk updates, workflows, and cross-functional coordination for catalog tasks.

Competencies and Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 2–3+ years in Amazon catalog management, eCommerce operations, or marketplace management

  • Strong understanding of Amazon listing structure, policies, and marketplace operations.

  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting, cleaning, and bulk data handling.

  • Knowledge of keyword research and Amazon search ranking fundamentals.

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity or experience in Copywriting
