While this is an Individual Contributor (IC) role, you will be expected to mentor senior engineers and partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership. • Tech Leadership: Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and quality gates. Lead technical grooming sessions and architecture reviews.

  • Mentorship: Elevate the team’s technical bar. Mentor Senior and Mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions.

  • Operational Excellence: Champion DevOps culture. Own the reliability, observability, and performance of production systems (CI/CD, monitoring, alerting).

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate complex technical concepts into business value for stakeholders. Work with Product Managers to assess feasibility and trade-offs.

  • Architect AI Training & Execution Harnesses: Design and build robust, scalable developer harnesses and evaluation pipelines (Evals) to fine-tune, evaluate, and deploy domain-specific AI models and agents safely and efficiently.

  • Design & Systematize "AI Skills": Translate complex domain knowledge and proprietary business logic into structured, reusable toolsets, prompt frameworks, and APIs ("skills") that enable AI models to perform specialized engineering and business tasks.

  • Database: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL modeling.

  • Tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).

Preferred Qualifications (The "Nice-to-Haves"):

  • Healthcare Domain: Prior experience in the Healthcare/HealthTech industry is a significant plus.
