The Director, Product & Pipeline Communications will develop and execute communications strategies that support the company’s marketed products and pipeline assets, including FILSPARI® and programs in classical homocystinuria (HCU) and rare kidney disease. The Director will work closely with colleagues across Corporate Communications, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Patient Advocacy, Government Affairs and Investor Relations to ensure communications are coordinated, accurate and aligned with company priorities. The role will also manage external agency partners and contribute to broader corporate reputation and storytelling initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner across R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial, Patient Advocacy, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications to align messaging and support disease education, thought leadership and future market-shaping objectives.

  • Support media relations and digital and social content related to the company’s products, pipeline and disease areas, including preparing executives and subject-matter experts for external engagements.

  • Manage agency partners, project timelines and budgets, and measure the effectiveness of communications initiatives to inform future strategies.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, product communications, public relations or a related field within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or healthcare industry.

  • Experience supporting marketed products and pipeline programs, including commercial activities, clinical data milestones, regulatory communications, or disease education.

  • Experience in rare disease, nephrology, metabolic disorders or another science-driven therapeutic area is preferred.

Additional Skills/Experience/Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will embody Travere’s core values: Courage, Community Spirit, Patient Focus and Teamwork.

  • Strong scientific and product storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, credible and audience-appropriate communications.

  • Working knowledge of the drug-development and commercialization processes and the communications considerations associated with clinical, data, regulatory and commercial milestones.

  • Excellent writing, collaboration, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

  • Experience managing public relations agencies, vendors, project timelines and budgets.

  • Successful record of creating and managing complex project plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths.
