Job description

Overview:

BerryDunn is seeking a Project Manager to join our Medicaid Practice Group. In this role you will serve as a Project Manager to support our client success and growth team with planning and tracking project deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and decisions for our client. Client success and growth team consists of organization development, training, and process documentation services. This position reports to senior leaders in the Medicaid Practice Group team and will sit remotely or in the Oahu, HI office. 

Travel Expectations: This role may travel up to 25%.

You Will:

Provide project management services to the client success and growth team to support our clients ability to transform their organization to align with their business strategy and undergo transformation. As a trusted advisor, you will provide leadership and guidance for clients and internal project teams in the following areas:

  • Oversee and monitor the project plan for the client success and growth workstream 
  • Track project deliverables and dependencies to help ensure commitments are achieved
  • Support and review the integration of the client success and growth workplan into the overall engagement workplan
  • Proactively identify overall project interdependencies, conflicts, and impacts
  • Manage and build strong relationships with project stakeholders including client contacts, project team members, vendor contacts, etc.
  • Develop, review, distribute, and present project status and readiness assessment reports
  • Assist with monitoring and tracking project action items, issues, risks, and decisions
  • Develop project issue and risk memos as needed
  • Facilitate and participate in staff/team meetings
  • Conduct frequent, clear, and consistent communication to the client, team members, vendor(s), and other stakeholders
You Have:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Project management experience with State Medicaid and other HHS programs (e.g., TANF, SNAP, Child Welfare)
  • Project management experience for a large enterprise implementation
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or higher
  • Minimum of three years of experience working for or with a State Medicaid Agency
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the day-to-day activities of project team including setting assignments and maintaining control over assignments, and schedule
  • Strong meeting facilitation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and excel in a team setting
  • Strong time management and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Knowledge in quality assurance/control procedures (including review of project deliverables) and demonstrated proactive problem management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail with specific experience developing, editing, and presenting summaries, reports, and complex information and data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio, and Zoom (or similar webinar tool)
  • Familiarity with standard document repositories such as MS SharePoint 
Compensation Details:

The base salary range targeted for this role is $105,000 - $130,000. This salary range represents BerryDunn’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications more than the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply, and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
