We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and improve the infrastructure, automation and platform services behind RENNSPORT.
You’ll work closely with our game, backend and Site Reliability engineers, with a focus on infrastructure, services and developer tooling.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
Maintain and improve cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Improve build systems, artifact management and developer workflows.
Build tooling that improves developer productivity and reduces manual work.
Manage Kubernetes and containerized environments.
Manage game server automation and image management
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployments across development, staging and production.
Work with our Site Reliability Engineer on infrastructure, scalability and observability.
Maintain secure infrastructure configurations and access controls.
Document infrastructure, pipelines and processes.
Extensive experience in Go, Kubernetes and Linux.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
Experience with on-prem, cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Scripting in Python and Bash.
Knowledge of Linux and networking, including HTTP/S and TCP.
Experience with Git-based development workflows.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering or a similar role.
Professional working proficiency in English.
NICE TO HAVE
Experience in the gaming industry or game development infrastructure.
Experience with dedicated game servers or multiplayer backend infrastructure.
Experience with PostgreSQL in production environments.
Experience supporting live-service environments and game launches.
Familiarity with deployment processes for Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox or PlayStation.
Interest in gaming, motorsport or sim racing.
Full-time: 40 hours per week with an initial 6-month probation period.
Remote-first, flexible work environment (must be located in Germany).
