Responsibilities: 

  • You will be leading the facilitation of the risk management process; identification, assessment, and proactive management of risks (both threats and opportunities.
  • Ensure risk data is kept up to date and using industry best practice according to ISO31000:2018 standards.
  • Engage the project team in the risk management requirements proactively and establish a risk management culture.
  • Develop Risk Management Plan, maintain risk registers, prepare risk reports & analyses to support management in decision-making.
  • Automate and increase efficiency in elements of the implemented risk management processes, tools, and templates.
  • Lead risk workshops with the project teams, including partners and client.
  • Integrate Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) for Cost and Schedule in the project, help management interpret results and make decisions using QRAs.
  • Ensure consistency of approach and knowledge sharing across projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience with large & complex engineering focused projects (major infrastructure, rail, highways, oil & gas, nuclear).
  • Previous experience in consultancy environments.
  • Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (QCSRA).
  • Expert with industry tools such as @risk, Safran, ARM, Xactium.
  • Broad and diverse background i.e., Project Management, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical), or Data analytics.
  • Ability and interest to deep dive into complex analytical issues.
  • Competencies equivalent to PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional).
  • Mastery of MS Office tools (e.g., Excel) to support these analytics is required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel (nationally/internationally – around 30%)
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is an advantage.

Aufgaben:

  • Sie übernehmen die Leitung und Moderation des Risikomanagementprozesses, einschließlich der Identifikation, Bewertung und proaktiven Steuerung von Risiken (Bedrohungen und Chancen).
  • Sie stellen sicher, dass Risikodaten stets aktuell gehalten werden und den Best Practices der Branche gemäß ISO 31000:2018 entsprechen.

  • Sie integrieren quantitative Risikoanalysen (QRA) für Kosten und Terminplanung in das Projekt, unterstützen das Management bei der Interpretation der Ergebnisse und bei fundierten Entscheidungsprozessen.
  • Sie stellen die Konsistenz der Vorgehensweise sowie den Wissenstransfer über verschiedene Projekte hinweg sicher.

Ihr Profil:

  • Erfahrung in großen und komplexen, technisch anspruchsvollen Projekten (z. B. Infrastruktur, Schienenverkehr, Straßenbau, Öl & Gas oder Kernenergie); Erfahrungen in Beratungsunternehmen oder beratungsnahen Umgebungen sind willkommen.
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in der quantitativen Kosten- und Terminrisikoanalyse (QCSRA).
  • Kenntnisse in branchenüblichen Tools wie @Risk, Safran, ARM oder Xactium.
  • Fachkenntnisse z. B. in Projektmanagement, Statistik, Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Betriebswirtschaft, Ingenieurwesen (Bau-, Maschinenbau- oder Elektrotechnik) oder Datenanalyse.
  • Fähigkeit und Interesse, sich intensiv mit komplexen analytischen Fragestellungen auseinanderzusetzen.
  • Qualifikationen auf dem Niveau PMI-RMP (Risk Management Professional) oder vergleichbar sind plus.
  • Sicherer Umgang mit MS Office-Anwendungen, insbesondere Excel, zur Unterstützung analytischer Aufgaben.
  • Bereitschaft und Fähigkeit zu nationalen und internationalen Dienstreisen (ca. 30 %).
  • Fließende schriftliche und mündliche Kommunikationsfähigkeiten in Englisch; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil.
