What You'll Do 

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join an international, cross-functional team building AI-driven solutions for background screening. You'll split your time between delivering new products and supporting the production workloads our customers depend on. You will: 

• Work within a Scrum team on new products and initiatives, from design through delivery. 

• Provide dedicated support for existing production AI/ML workloads, ensuring reliability, performance, and continuity. 

• Build secure, well-optimized solutions using modern AI tooling. 

• Develop and productionize ML models, and design end-to-end testing strategies to hold delivered solutions to a high quality bar. 

• Deliver API integrations and data pipelines, optimizing for latency, throughput, and cost. 

• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and other departments on planning and execution. 

• Ensure solutions meet the highest standards for security, compliance, and data governance. 

What You'll Need to be Successful 

• At least 5 years of experience across software engineering, AI, and machine learning. 

• Strong programming skills in Python, including production ML work with frameworks such as TensorFlow. 

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark for building and scaling data pipelines. 

• Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing relational data. 

• Experience building and serving models as APIs (e.g., FastAPI), with attention to latency, throughput, and cost. 

• Practical experience with LLM APIs, RAG, OCR, and document recognition/NLP techniques. 

• A solid grasp of MLOps practices, including automated training and deployment. 

Nice to Have 

• TypeScript/JavaScript for API and service development. 

• Knowledge of Azure, including serverless architectures and API gateways. 

• Familiarity with MLOps and orchestration tooling (e.g., Azure ML, MLflow, Airflow, Prefect). 

• Experience with containerization and IaC (Docker, Bicep/Terraform).
