Requirements

5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused)

Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript

Experience building low-latency API services in AWS

Experience building scalable RESTful APIs

Experience with SDK integrations to other services

Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS)

Experience building secure multi-tenant environments

Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate)

Professional experience with React

Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing

Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development

CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills

Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed

Substantial background working with large, complex systems

Ability to overlap US business hours

Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with append-only, event-sourced, or bitemporal data models

Experience with Fastify and schema-first validation (e.g., Zod)

Experience running containerized services on AWS Fargate/ECS

Experience in compliance-sensitive or audit-heavy domains (e.g., fintech, telecom/TCPA compliance)
