WATER QUALITY PLATFORM  

Water Quality (‘WQ”) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater, and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, Trojan Technologies, McCrometer and ChemTreat.  WQ Asia has sales offices in India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.  

Hach-TH Water Quality Platform, a part of the Hach Company, is a leader in manufacturing and distributing analytical instruments and reagents used to test water quality and other liquid solutions. In response to the rapidly expanding reagent in water test business in Thailand, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Water Quality Thailand Group as a Label Graphics Coordinator.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Label Graphics Coordinator is responsible for using Compliance and production standards to build and maintain label image templates for internally printed and purchased labels. The coordinator will also assist in proofing the design work of fellow associates. The team will work closely with teams in U.S., Thailand and Germany to acquire label data and ensure labels comply with all regulatory specifications. The team member will be embedded in the process of ensuring the portfolio of products are available to customers globally by participating in the regulatory hold system that ensures blocks are released for orders once regulatory hold criteria is met for the assigned territory.

Improving, simplifying, and executing design work while creating and managing data for the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) is central to the role. Common software utilized for the position are Microsoft Office programs, navigation of Windows Explorer folders, Adobe PDF, and UL WERCs. Additional experience with Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, NiceLabel, and general graphic design methods a bonus but not mandatory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Label Graphics Coordinator must be trained and proficient in at least one of these two core competencies:

    • Maintain general image templates that are used to generate item specific label images.

    • Review Safety Data Sheet and other sources for data aligning with the label(s), i.e., Label Proofing.

  • Handle building externally manufactured labels and coordinate with the Manager, Label Graphics Specialist, Hach Purchasing associate, and the supplier for the order.

  • Assist in improving processes by revising work instruction, taking instructional photos, and other coordinator responsibilities.

  • Own and manage GHS SOP/WI.

  • Support the team to ensure objective’s meets.

  • Manage Regulatory change notices from Chemical compliance.

  • Facilitate communication with other stakeholder (initial calls, answering standard questions, etc.)

  • Ensure weekly productivities completion & Dashboards.

  • Use VES tools and apply them to specific projects as required.

  • Maintain data interface tools and information exchange between different HACH teams.

OTHER NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Colloborate with other Label Graphics team members to resolve challenges and improve current processes to support operations.

  • Build data and work with Label Graphics team members to ensure targets are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate’s degree strongly encouraged, bachelor’s degree a plus 

  • Must have demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF.

  • Able to navigate Agile, electronic QMS, experience preferred.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Experience in working as part of a global team.

  • Work experience abroad would be a plus.

  • Excellent English language skills.
