Job description

About LearnLux

LearnLux is the leading global provider of workplace financial wellbeing, blending fiduciary digital planning with access to one-on-one guidance from Certified Financial Planner™️ professionals. Our award-winning program helps employees navigate critical financial decisions from budgeting and benefits elections to equity compensation, home buying, and retirement so they can feel confident about their money and focused at work. Today, we're proud to serve some of the largest companies in the world.

We’re building LearnLux with intention. We move quickly, operate with a high bar for quality, and value people who take ownership of their work. If you’re energized by solving new problems, taking accountability, and pushing yourself to do your best work every day, you’ll find this a rewarding environment.

We’re a venture-backed company that has raised a series B and is supported by experienced investors and long-term partners. We’re a growth-focused business building for scale, and we’re excited by the opportunities and challenges that come with that journey.

The Role

LearnLux exists to drive meaningful financial outcomes for millions of employees around the world. As Director of Product Management, you’ll translate that mission into a clear product vision and strategy, building experiences that can serve people across countries, cultures, languages, and financial systems. You’ll identify where we can meaningfully innovate and differentiate, and focus our teams on the opportunities that matter most for our members, clients, and business.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll operate at multiple zoom levels, from setting long-term product direction and shaping our operating model to working directly with Product, Design, and Engineering on the experiences we’re building. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our members, clients, product, and market, and create the clarity and context teams need to move quickly and confidently.

AI is rapidly expanding what’s possible for both our product and the teams building it. You’ll help define where AI can create fundamentally better experiences and financial outcomes for our members, while evolving how Product and Design work in an AI-native world.

As LearnLux grows, you’ll grow the Product and Design organization alongside it, evolving our talent, capabilities, and ways of working to ensure we continue rising to the opportunities in our market.

This role reports to the Co-Founder and COO and is based in the Denver, CO or New York City area.

What you’ll do

  • Own and evolve LearnLux’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap, translating our company mission into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our members, clients, and market to identify the opportunities most worth pursuing and where LearnLux can meaningfully differentiate.
  • Define how we measure product success and connect engagement and behavior to meaningful financial outcomes for members at scale.
  • Lead product direction across our member experience and the platform capabilities that enable LearnLux to serve complex global workforces at scale.
  • Ensure global considerations are built into how we think about the product, from localization and member experience to privacy, regulation, data, and platform capabilities.
  • Work hands-on alongside Product, Design, and Engineering to shape solutions, make thoughtful tradeoffs, define success, and drive work from discovery through delivery.
  • Partner across the company to turn member insight, client needs, commercial opportunities, and market signals into product strategy.
  • Identify where AI can fundamentally improve our product and how we deliver financial guidance, while helping define how Product and Design operate in an AI-native world.
  • Use AI and agentic workflows to accelerate discovery, research, prototyping, product definition, and iteration, and build those capabilities across the team.
  • Lead and evolve our Product and Design organization, developing the talent, craft, operating model, and capabilities we need as LearnLux scales.

You should bring

  • 10+ years of Product Management experience, including experience building, scaling, or evolving a strong product organization.
  • Experience owning product strategy and translating it into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • A track record of materially improving engagement, retention, customer behavior, or other meaningful product outcomes.
  • Proven people leadership across Product Managers and Designers.
  • Experience across both customer-facing products and the platforms or infrastructure that enable them.
  • Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into clear strategy and action.
  • Comfort operating at multiple zoom levels, from long-term strategy to hands-on product decisions with teams.
  • Experience building products for global or complex customer environments, with an understanding of how localization, regulation, and regional differences shape product decisions.
  • Enterprise B2B experience, ideally in benefits, fintech, or HR tech.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to build alignment across technical, commercial, and operational teams.

It would be great if you also

  • Have experience in regulated financial services.
  • Have built or evolved a Design practice.
  • Have built AI-powered products or led teams using AI-native and agentic ways of working.
  • Have helped a Product organization scale through a meaningful stage of company growth.

LearnLux is a fit for you if you

  • You’re a builder. You want to shape the product, team, and organization behind it, and you’re energized by the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and contribute directly along the way.
  • You take ownership. You create clarity, make decisions, and stay accountable through outcomes.
  • You think big and stay hands-on. You move comfortably between systems level thinking and the details that make a product great.
  • You embrace change. You’re excited by how AI, technology, and our market are expanding what’s possible.
  • You hold a high bar. You care deeply about craft, customer outcomes, and continuously improving how your team works.
  • You communicate clearly. You share context proactively and collaborate deeply across a remote organization.

  • Medical, dental, and vision
  • 401(k)
  • Mental wellbeing (Talkspace)
  • Financial wellbeing (LearnLux)
  • Paid vacation and sick leave
  • Paid sabbatical after 5 years of service
  • A supportive, inclusive team culture
  • Opportunities for continuous learning and growth at a fast-growing startup at the cutting edge intersection of financial wellness and technology
