  • Assess the impact of proposed changes on pension business rules, calculations, workflows, data, correspondence, reports, interfaces, security roles, and operating procedures.
  • Assist with the review and validation of system configuration and vendor-delivered changes.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop test plans, test scenarios, detailed test scripts, test data, expected results, and acceptance criteria.
  • Execute functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Document test results and evidence and identify, report, track, and retest defects through resolution.
  • Coordinate testing activities with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Confirm implemented solutions satisfy approved requirements and support intended business processes.

Operational & Process Improvement

  • Analyze current business processes and recommend practical improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, control, and service quality.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through improved system functionality, workflow changes, automation, or clearer procedures.
  • Document current-state and future-state processes and support implementation of approved changes.
  • Support communications, training, procedure updates, and other change-management activities associated with system enhancements.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Review and validate data involving member records, service credit, pension calculations, beneficiaries, payments, and other pension administration information.
  • Assist with data reconciliation, data-quality reviews, and validation of reports and interfaces.
  • Use spreadsheets, reporting, query, or analytical tools to identify patterns, exceptions, and potential data issues.

Project & Vendor Support

  • Participate in system enhancement, maintenance, upgrade, and related technology projects.
  • Support project planning, requirements, solution review, testing, deployment, post-implementation validation, and transition to ongoing operations.
