Job description

Responsibilities:

As an LLM Engineer for the Noblis OptiSource program supporting AMC's Organic Industrial Base Modernization Office, your responsibilities will include: LLM integration/fine-tuning (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral); prompt engineering; RAG architecture; Python ML (LangChain, LlamaIndex, HuggingFace); NL interface design; vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma); Palantir ontology integration; DoD AI ethics; model evaluation

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the existing OptiSource development team (lead developer, scrum master, product owner) to define and implement predictive analytics capabilities within the Army VANTAGE platform
  • Translate broadly scoped customer requirements into concrete, deployable AI/ML solutions using the Palantir Foundry toolset
  • Support the migration and enhancement of an existing, proven analytics application from a contractor environment into the Army's VANTAGE platform
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years ML/NLP/AI engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years focused on LLM development, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, or LLM integration
  • Experience deploying LLM interfaces to production
  • Enterprise data platform integration (Palantir Foundry, Databricks) required.
  • Active Secret security clearance is required. US citizenship is required. 
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience on DoD/Federal AI/ML programs, specifically Army VANTAGE or GCSS-A preferred

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.


Posted Salary Range: USD $115,500.00 - USD $180,525.00 /Yr.
