Job description

We design Spotify’s consumer experience - end to end, moment to moment, across every screen, platform, and partner integration. Our mission is to make listening feel effortless, personal, and joyful for billions of users around the world. That means turning complexity into clarity across hundreds of touchpoints—from our mobile and desktop apps to the smart speakers, TVs, cars, and integrations where Spotify shows up every day. If it touches a consumer, we shape it. We bring deep insight into human behavior, design, and technology to craft experiences that feel intuitive, expressive, and unmistakably Spotify.

We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager to help lead the audiobook experience across Spotify’s mobile apps. You’ll join Format Foundations within Core Experience and partner closely with the Audiobooks business unit to shape how listeners discover, evaluate, enjoy, and build lasting relationships with audiobooks on Spotify.

What You'll Do
  • Lead product strategy for Spotify’s audiobook experience, shaping how the format becomes more engaging, valuable, and enjoyable for listeners, creators, and the business.
  • Define and evolve the experience across the audiobook journey, from discovery and evaluation through playback, library management, and reading.
  • Partner closely with the Audiobooks business unit to translate business strategy and listener needs into product innovation that supports growth.
  • Drive innovation across multimodal experiences, including the intersection of listening and reading.
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Data, and other cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality experiences at scale.
  • Use data, experimentation, and user insights to make informed product decisions and continuously improve the experience.
  • Build alignment across Core Experience, Audiobooks, Personalization, and other partners to create a cohesive Spotify experience.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives end to end, setting direction and scope, creating alignment, and partnering with Engineering on delivery.

  • Who You Are
  • You have 5+ years of product management experience, including meaningful experience with audiobook, ebook, digital reading, or related consumer products.
  • You have a deep understanding of the audiobook or digital reading landscape, including user behavior, publisher ecosystems, and competitive dynamics.
  • You have experience building consumer products for mobile platforms such as iOS and Android, including complex user experiences.
  • You understand how to build scalable systems and experiences that help teams move faster.
  • You know how to balance user needs, technical considerations, and business impact when making product decisions.
  • You care deeply about creating intuitive, high-quality consumer experiences at scale.
  • You have partnered closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and other disciplines to bring products from strategy through delivery.
  • You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, making thoughtful trade-offs, and creating clarity across teams.
  • You can influence stakeholders across functions and levels to build alignment and drive meaningful outcomes.
  • You actively use AI tools in your product development workflow, including for research, analysis, iteration, and prototyping.

  • Where You'll Be
  • This role is based in Stockholm or London
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
