Company Operating Rhythm

At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance.

Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do.

Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.

Deepgram is looking for a Strategic Account Executive to drive new customers and revenue at our rapidly growing company. This individual will focus on Fortune 500 accounts across the greater New York area. While there is no requirement to work from an office, Deepgram has a local office available for those who wish to use it. We are prioritizing candidates who can regularly meet with customers in person throughout the region.

You will have the opportunity to sell a patented, world-class Voice AI platform that enables our customers to achieve things previously not possible with voice. We are looking for hungry and talented sales professionals to help us take our top-line revenue to new heights!

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of Fortune 500 accounts across the greater New York area

  • Build strong relationships with customers through regular in-person meetings and strategic engagement

  • Self-prospect to build a strong pipeline of new logos and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, while partnering with the Marketing, SDR, and Partner teams to generate meetings

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, especially Sales Operations and Sales Engineering, to ensure sales effectiveness

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs across the STT, TTS, and Voice Agent space, as well as Deepgram’s products and competitive landscape, to clearly articulate our value proposition

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partnering with CSMs to identify expansion opportunities and support ongoing account management

You’ll Love This Role If You

  • Value working with experienced leadership that has a strong track record of success

  • Thrive alongside high-performing cross-functional partners across GTM

  • Understand the importance of selling a market-validated product that delivers on its technical promise

  • Believe there should be no cap on your upside and want ownership of account expansion opportunities

  • Are passionate about what Deepgram is building and how we are changing what is possible with speech

It’s Important to Us That You Have

  • 7–12+ years of experience in a technical, full-cycle sales role

  • Proven experience managing complex enterprise or strategic new-business and expansion sales cycles

  • Experience selling into and navigating large, complex organizations, ideally Fortune 500 accounts

  • Experience building your own pipeline and closing new accounts

  • A track record of consistently exceeding sales targets

  • The ability and willingness to regularly meet customers in person throughout the greater New York area

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Empathy and a unique ability to understand customer needs

  • Exceptional organization and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

  • The ability to drive a consistent and repeatable sales process

It Would Be Great If You Had

  • Familiarity with Challenger or Triangle sales methodologies

  • Experience selling technical products to engineering, product, or other highly technical audiences
