Job description

MyPrize is the fastest growing free-to-play social gaming and social markets platform in the world, redefining how people play, watch, and connect with one another and with gaming and markets online. Pioneering multiplayer experiences where users can join forces with creators, streamers, and friends, MyPrize provides a platform built for shared moments and massive communities.

MyPrize transcends boundaries, giving players and fans what they have been desperately craving: an all-in-one platform that combines the best of online gaming, live streaming, and social markets, powered by MyPrize's proprietary AI personalization engine. With SOC 2 Type 1 certification, MyPrize maintains institutional-grade security while building the future of online entertainment.

We're seeking a Product Analytics Manager to join our growing Analytics team full time. This is an exciting opportunity to measure and optimize the in-app player experience starting with closing our core event-tracking gaps and building toward a full A/B testing and churn-prediction capability.

The Role:

As Product Analytics Manager at MyPrize, you'll measure and optimize the in-app player experience and game/feature performance, working closely with Analytics and Product departments.

You'll stand up reliable event-tracking infrastructure as a foundational dependency, then build the core product dashboard, A/B testing framework, and churn-prediction capability that the rest of the organization relies on.

What you will do at MyPrize:

  • Instrument & Validate Event Tracking: Assess and close event-tracking/instrumentation gaps (mobile SDK and/or game-engine event logging, e.g., Firebase, Amplitude, or Mixpanel), validating event definitions and data quality — the foundational first deliverable before any dashboard work.
  • Build Core Product Dashboards: Build and maintain core product/game-performance dashboards (DAU/MAU, session metrics, retention, funnel conversion, feature adoption) that give stakeholders reliable, self-serve visibility into player behavior.
  • Design & Analyze A/B Tests: Stand up a structured A/B testing framework for game mechanics and UI changes — defining hypotheses, primary/guardrail metrics, and sample-size requirements, and interpreting results for statistical significance.
  • Lead Segmentation & Churn Prediction: Lead player segmentation (cohort/behavioral clustering) and churn-prediction modeling, in partnership with the Head of Analytics, to surface at-risk segments and growth opportunities.
  • Investigate KPI Anomalies: Investigate significant or unexpected shifts in core KPIs, determine root cause, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner on Launch Measurement: Partner with Product/Game Design on a standard new-game/feature-launch measurement framework — establishing baseline metrics and monitoring early adoption signals.

What you bring to MyPrize:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years in product/data analytics, ideally in mobile gaming or a session-based consumer app.
  • Strong SQL and experience with event-tracking/instrumentation tooling (e.g., Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or a game-engine analytics SDK).
  • Proficiency with a modern BI/visualization tool (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms, experimental design, and statistical significance testing.
  • Working knowledge of predictive or clustering methodologies (e.g., logistic regression, k-means) for churn or propensity modeling; Python or R a plus.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguous, evolving data infrastructure — this is a build-from-near-scratch environment, not a mature, fully-instrumented stack.

Gold Stars:

  • Experience with mobile game analytics and app-store optimization (ASO).
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques for behavioral or churn prediction (e.g., propensity scoring).
  • Experience in a regulated gaming/sweepstakes environment.

Benefits and Perks:

  • Remote-first company with hybrid offices in NYC & Miami
  • Equity
  • 401K
  • Comprehensive insurance plans: Health, Dental, and Vision
  • Flexible Spending Account
  • Flexible Vacation Policy
