Job description

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Manufacturing Excellence, you will own the strategy, roadmap, governance, and value delivery for Conagra’s Connected Worker ecosystem. You will connect business needs with technology solutions that improve frontline productivity, standard work, employee capability, and operational performance. You will lead the expansion of connected worker capabilities beyond digital documents through mobile enablement, training, change management, defect handling, device readiness, and future technology solutions that create measurable business value.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Own the Connected Worker strategy, multi-year roadmap, enhancement process, and prioritization across manufacturing sites.
  • Identify and evaluate new use cases that improve safety, quality, productivity, reliability, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Translate operational needs into scalable digital solutions, deployment plans, and measurable improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Excellence, Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory and Analytical, Sanitation, and other functions to embed connected worker tools into standard ways of working.
  • Build alignment across Plant Operations, Manufacturing Excellence, Information Technology, Digital Technology, Human Resources Technology, Procurement, vendors, and senior leaders.
  • Influence stakeholders across multiple functions and locations to resolve tradeoffs, establish ownership, and advance enterprise priorities.
  • Serve as the business owner for the Connected Worker platform and related frontline applications, including defect handling capabilities where applicable.
  • Establish and maintain governance processes for roadmap intake, standards, deployment, training, support, issue resolution, adoption, data quality, and value realization.
  • Define business requirements and standards for mobile device utilization, application readiness, refresh planning, and frontline user support.
  • Partner with Information Technology, Procurement, vendors, and plant teams to remove barriers and improve mobile technology adoption.
  • Lead Connected Worker training strategy and collaborate with plant champions, functional leaders, Human Resources, Learning, Information Technology, and vendors.
  • Develop scalable training materials, communications, standard work, and enablement plans that support deployments and platform enhancements.
  • Lead vendor business reviews, roadmap discussions, enhancement prioritization, and performance discussions.
  • Benchmark external organizations and industry practices to identify future technology opportunities and best practices.
  • Lead enterprise deployment planning and sustain adoption through continuous improvement activities.
  • Track adoption, training completion, user feedback, issue trends, and business impact to ensure value realization and continuous optimization.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Travel 25-50%, dependent on business needs
  • Seven or more years of experience in product management, manufacturing technology, digital transformation, operations, continuous improvement, training enablement, or related disciplines.
  • Experience leading enterprise initiatives across multiple functions, locations, and stakeholder groups.
  • Experience translating business needs into technology-enabled solutions, product roadmaps, deployment strategies, and business cases.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills with experience engaging frontline employees, operational leaders, functional partners, vendors, and senior leaders.
  • Experience supporting the adoption of frontline technology solutions, including training, change management, mobile device deployment, and support processes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable business results.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environments.
  • Preferred experience with Connected Worker solutions, digital manufacturing platforms, mobile technologies, vendor management, or business process transformation initiatives.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$109,000-$159,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
