Main Responsibilites:

• Lead and participate in efforts to modernize the products technology stack;
• Mentor junior developers and perform code pairing with other members of the team and perform proper code reviews with team members.
• Collaborate with Product Management and team members on establishing a product roadmap to ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirement.
• Follow industry-standard agile software design methodologies.
• Grow your own and help grow others technical talents.
• Learn new skills and technologies as required to support existing and evolving products.
• Engaging in all aspects of the software delivery cycle including the design, build, test, deploy, and support of software applications.

What Skills You Need:

• 4+ years of experience building front end applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax and jQuery with UI frameworks like React.
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing microservices using and creating/consuming RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• 3 years of experience using Amazon Web Services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS etc.) and understanding of infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• 2 years of experience designing and developing service-based architecture and/or micro-services.
• Hands-on experience working with relational and no relational databases.
• Proven experience working in an Agile Scrum team environment.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification.
• Experience working with SpringBoot or similar Java Frameworks.
• Experience working with Micro-frontends.
• Strong communication skills.
• Appetite for continuous learning and willingness/dedication to develop deep technical skills needed to further develop, transform, and modernize processes and solutions.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
