Job description

A growing logistics company is seeking an experienced Cross-Border Logistics Sales Manager to develop and expand business between the U.S. and Mexico.
This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales professional with experience in cross-border trucking, 3PL, or international logistics. Candidates with an established customer network or book of business are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and other customers in the U.S. and Mexico
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in cross-border trucking and logistics
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
  • Provide customized logistics solutions, pricing, and market insights
  • Negotiate contracts and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Work closely with operations and carrier teams to ensure successful service execution
  • Monitor customs requirements, freight rates, and market trends
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of sales experience in international logistics, cross-border trucking, or 3PL
  • Strong customer network in manufacturing, automotive, retail, or related industries
  • Existing book of business is a strong plus
  • Solid knowledge of customs clearance, freight pricing, and carrier networks
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Spanish/English bilingual skills are preferred but not required
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $50,000–$80,000, depending on experience
  • Commission opportunity
  • Alternative compensation structure of fixed salary or base salary + commission may be available
  • Year 1: 15% on new accounts; 10% on new business from existing accounts
  • Year 2: 10% on new accounts; 5% on new business from existing accounts
  • Accounts transition to house accounts beginning in Year 3
