HSA Tutoring is Hiring Tutors and Sales Associates!

Join Our Team: Work with HSA Tutoring as a Tutor, starting at $22/hr earning up to $30/hr in base pay with a flexible work schedule. This opportunity is perfect for individuals looking for meaningful and impactful work that fits alongside academics and other commitments.
Roles Available:

  • Academic Tutoring: Offer private one-on-one sessions across a variety of subjects.
  • College Advising: Guide students through the college application process including essays and resumes.
  • Test Preparation: Help students prepare for standardized tests like the SAT and ACT.
  • Workshops: Conduct group sessions on specific topics such as writing research papers, Marketing & Branding, and American Culture, with opportunities to make $37.50/hr
Work Environment:
  • The majority of our classes are online, complemented by occasional in-person sessions.
  • We connect Harvard students with learners globally, providing both local and virtual teaching opportunities.

Scheduling and Expectations :
  • Tutors are expected to maintain at least 5 hours of weekly availability, with most tutors typically teaching between 1–5 hours per week depending on student demand
  • Tutors should respond to student and family messages within 12 hours and come prepared for sessions
  • Every pay cycle Tutors should report weekly accomplishments via Bi-weekly Form
  • Strikes may be issued for unprofessional cancellations, consistently low-quality tutoring, lack of communication, or inappropriate behavior.
Promotion
HSA Tutoring promotions work through a tier system, with promotions happening on a regular basis due to good student reviews, no cancellations or strikes, and high availability on our platform.
  • Tier 1: Starting position, wage of 22/hr, expected 5 hours of availability with 1-2 sessions a week
  • Tier 2: Promoted to 25/hr with expected 7 hours of availability and 2-3 sessions a week
  • Tier 3: Promoted to 30/hr with 10-15 hours of availability and 3+ sessions a week

We are also hiring Sales Associates!

Work with HSA Tutoring as a Sales Associate, supporting families and students as they explore our tutoring programs. This role offers a $15/hr base pay plus performance based commissions, making it a great opportunity for students looking to build communication, sales, and client facing experience alongside their studies.

Role Overview:
As a Sales Associate, you will serve as a key point of contact for prospective families, helping them understand HSA Tutoring offerings and guiding them toward the right academic support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Turn leads into conversions and retaining customers
  • Speak with families and students interested in HSA Tutoring programs
  • Clearly explain tutoring packages, subjects, and services
  • Support lead follow up and conversion efforts
  • Track conversations and outcomes in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with the Tutoring and Operations teams
Compensation:
  • $15 per hour base pay
  • 3 percent commission on all sales
  • Commissions can reach up to +$50 per sale
  • Biweekly pay via direct deposit
  • Eligibility for discretionary bonuses for strong performance
Work Environment:
  • Hybrid: Remote work with in-person shifts in the HSA office when on-campus
