Job description

Pay: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year

Location: This is a fully on-site opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio, Monday through Friday. This role is not available as a hybrid or remote position.

Note: An active Ohio bar license in good standing and 2+ years of directly relevant estate planning and/or tax law experience are required. Candidates should also have a JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Job Description

  • Advise individuals and families on comprehensive estate planning strategies and wealth transfer matters.
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Handle probate and estate administration matters from planning through resolution.
  • Counsel clients regarding individual, fiduciary, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys on sophisticated estate planning and tax matters.
  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with clients while providing practical legal guidance.
  • Manage assigned matters independently while collaborating with attorneys and support professionals.
  • Contribute to a growing practice and develop your own professional expertise and client base.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of estate planning and/or tax law experience.
  • Active Ohio bar license in good standing.
  • JD from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Experience with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate, and estate matters.
  • Knowledge of individual, fiduciary, estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and client communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong academic credentials preferred.
