Job description

About the role:

To strengthen our internal Tax team we are currently looking for a colleague Transfer Pricing Manager.

A strong player like the Jan De Nul Group also needs a strong financial department. This department guarantees that there is financial expertise available for the entire group: from accounting and data management inspection to bank guarantees. The emphasis is on making prudent financial decisions and on the management and optimization of all financial processes. Together we make a difference.

What you’ll do:

As Transfer Pricing Manager you will support projects across the various segments in which the JDN Group operates: dredging and marine infrastructure, civil and environmental engineering, and offshore energy.

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and managing the company's transfer pricing policies, documentation and compliance across all jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to international regulations and supporting audits and disputes related to transfer pricing matters.
  • Ensuring consistent and compliant operational execution of transfer pricing policies.
  • Overseeing transfer pricing documentation (Master File, Local Files, benchmark studies) and manage external advisors to ensure audit defensible compliance across jurisdictions.
  • Acting as the primary transfer pricing contact for tax audits and inquiries, coordinating responses with tax managers and external advisors.
  • You will be responsible for implementing an appropriate transfer pricing set-up based on a thorough knowledge of both the Jan De Nul standards and the internal legislation and requirements of various local project countries.
  • From the start of a project you will be responsible for respecting the arm's length principle in all intercompany transactions as well as the related intercompany contracts.
  • During the execution of projects you will coordinate transfer pricing returns and documentation. These files are centralized and you will provide an overview per country.
  • You will assist in tax inspections and audits in such a way that correct and well-founded answers are provided to control authorities.

You work from within our offices in Capellen (Luxembourg) and be willing to travel for short business trips to our projects worldwide. Alternatively, there is the possibility to work from our offices in Aalst, Belgium, with regular travel to and presence in Luxembourg (via a split contract).

What do you need?

You hold a Master's degree in Business Engineering, Applied Economic Sciences or Commercial Sciences, combined with approximately 10 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing (within a big 4 environment or a global MNE). You are fluent in English and knowledge of Spanish is considered a plus. You have strong numerical skills and a precise, detail-oriented approach.
Finally, you are flexible and willing to undertake short-term international travel.

Why working for us:
