Le Spécialiste Improvest collabore avec les producteurs de porcs et les cliniques vétérinaires pour assurer la mise en œuvre efficace et durable de la technologie Improvest.

Il gère tous les aspects de la méthode Improvest pour assurer une parfaite compréhension, de même que la conformité, la qualité et l'efficacité de la technologie Improvest dans les fermes hôtes.

Ce poste est situé au Québec, dans la région de Drummondville.

Responsabilités

  • Offre des services d'administration de doses d'Improvest, d'inspection et de documentation de haute qualité aux fermes hôtes.
  • Assurer la formation et la supervision du personnel chargé d’administrer Improvest relativement à la bonne technique d’injection et à l’entretien du matériel d’injection afin de certifier la conformité totale, la qualité et la réussite de la méthode Improvest dans les fermes hôtes.
  • Utilise Endorsis (logiciel) pour gérer l'administration des doses d'Improvest ainsi que l'inspection, le calendrier d'expédition des porcs et la documentation, de même que pour produire des rapports.
  • Veille à bien comprendre les systèmes de production, les priorités et la culture d'entreprise des fermes hôtes, afin d'assurer la concordance et la réussite du plan de mise en œuvre.
  • Établit et maintient la communication et la collaboration avec le personnel vétérinaire, avec l'équipe de gestion et les employés des fermes hôtes ainsi qu’avec autres parties prenantes, afin de favoriser de bonnes relations et de faciliter la mise en œuvre de la méthode Improvest.
  • Pour chaque ferme hôte, élabore un plan de processus Improvest et gère le plan pour assurer une mise en œuvre efficace et durable de la méthode Improvest dans les fermes hôtes, et l'atteinte des objectifs y afférents.
  • Collabore étroitement avec les membres de l'équipe Improvest de Zoetis pour assurer la compatibilité stratégique des plans de travail et la réussite optimale d'Improvest.

Qualifications

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires requis
  • Diplôme en agriculture, en enseignement agricole, en agroalimentaire, en économie agricole ou l'équivalent un atout
  • Au moins cinq ans d'expérience en production animale et/ou en formation ou en enseignement.
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication et grande facilité d'adaptation à différents types de personnalités au sein d'une équipe.
  • Très bonne connaissance de l''informatique, notamment des logiciels Excel, Word et des systèmes de Zoetis (ou capacité d'apprendre à utiliser les systèmes de Zoetis).
  • Bilinguisme (anglais/français); espagnol, un atout

La maîtrise de l'anglais est essentielle pour ce poste, car il s'agit de la principale langue de communication avec nos collègues hors Québec. Le candidat idéal doit avoir une excellente maîtrise de l'anglais afin de garantir la clarté et l'efficacité de toutes les interactions, facilitant ainsi une collaboration efficace et le travail d'équipe.

The Improvest Specialist works with swine production farms and veterinary practices to ensure successful, sustained implementation of the Improvest technology. The role focuses on management of all aspects of the Improvest Process to ensure its full understanding, compliance, quality, and success with host farms.

This position is located in the province of Quebec, in the Drummondville area.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality Improvest injections, inspection and documentation service to host farms
  • Train and monitor customer injection staff on proper Improvest injection technique and maintenance of injection equipment to ensure full compliance, quality and success of Improvest technology within host farms.
  • Use the Endorsis (software) to manage Improvest injections, inspections and pig shipping schedules and documentation, as well as to generate reports
  • Maintain strong understanding of host farm systems, priorities and culture to ensure Improvest Process success
  • Establish and maintain communication and collaboration with applicable veterinary practices, host farm management and staff, and other stakeholders to ensure sound working relationships and facilitate implementation of the Improvest Process
  • For each host farm, develop and manage an Improvest Process plan to ensure successful, sustained implementation of Improvest and achievement of Improvest goals in host farms
  • Work closely with the Zoetis Improvest Team to ensure strategic fit of work plans and optimize Improvest success

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Diploma in Agriculture or Agricultural Education, Agri-business, Agricultural Economics, or equivalent is a strong asset
  • Minimum of 5 years in animal production and / or training or education
  • Excellent communication skills and strong ability to work with various personality types in a team environment
  • Familiarity with computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Ability to speak fluent, conversational French and English is a requirement. Spanish is an asset.

Proficiency in English is essential for this role, as it is the primary language used for communication with our Canadian colleagues outside of Quebec. The ideal candidate must have a strong command of English to ensure clarity and efficiency in all interactions, facilitating effective collaboration and teamwork.
