Location

This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

Note

Candidates must have 3+ years of patent application drafting and prosecution experience, along with a strong technical background or hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, computer science, software, or closely related technologies.

Job Description

• Draft and prosecute patent applications involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, software, computer science, and related technologies.
• Work closely with inventors and technical teams to understand complex innovations and translate them into strong patent applications.
• Manage U.S. and potentially international patent prosecution matters.
• Respond to office actions and develop effective prosecution strategies.
• Conduct technical and legal analysis to support patent portfolio development.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients on patent strategy and protection of emerging technologies.
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines while delivering high-quality, detail-oriented work.
• Stay current on developments in AI, ML, software, and patent law.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of patent application drafting and prosecution experience.
• Experience with AI, machine learning, computer science, software, or related technologies.
• Strong ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently in a remote work environment.
• Collaborative, proactive, and client-focused approach.
