Job description

Who we are looking for

This role is the Wealth Transaction Monitoring Lead responsible for the continued design and deployment of suspicious activity monitoring models within State Street’s Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) function. The responsibilities focus on the development, testing, implementation, and operation of suspicious activity monitoring models and investigative tools designed to mitigate the financial crime risks specific to the Wealth and broker-dealer business.

You will also leverage leading technology to develop proofs of concept and evaluate software efficacy based on industry experience across broker-dealer operations, AML, model development, and bank risk technology.

You will play a significant role in partnering with Wealth business stakeholders, data stewards, FCC, IT teams and regulators to understand and explain customer and transaction journeys, identify relevant financial crime risks, and align business priorities with the design and operation of effective transaction monitoring controls.
