NetSuite Developer - Philippines

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled, analytical, and solutions-oriented NetSuite Developer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, integrating, and maintaining solutions within the NetSuite ERP ecosystem. You’ll work closely with consultants, product managers, and service teams to translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

This is a high-impact role where your ability to combine strong software engineering skills with practical ERP knowledge will directly contribute to the quality, scalability, and success of both our internal products and client solutions.

What You’ll Do

Solution Design & Technical Discovery

• Collaborate with consultants, product managers, and service teams to translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
  
• Evaluate when to extend NetSuite through custom development versus leveraging standard NetSuite configuration and functionality.
  
• Recommend scalable, modular, and upgrade-safe technical approaches that can be reused across products and client implementations.
  

Development & Customization

• Build custom solutions using NetSuite’s development frameworks, including SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and related technologies.
  
• Develop reusable components, workflows, scripts, and automation that improve delivery speed, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  
• Design and implement integrations between NetSuite and external applications, including CRMs, eCommerce platforms, third-party systems, and APIs.
  
• Develop custom records, forms, dashboards, reports, workflows, and other NetSuite solutions based on business requirements.
  

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct unit testing, peer code reviews, debugging, and performance checks to ensure solutions meet quality, security, scalability, and reliability standards.
  
• Partner with QA teams and consultants to validate solutions against client use cases, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  
• Identify and resolve technical issues before deployment to minimize implementation and production risks.
  

Deployment & Post-Go-Live Support

• Support the deployment of new product features, customizations, integrations, and client-specific solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize system performance, and resolve bugs efficiently.
  
• Provide ongoing technical support and enhancements following implementation and go-live.
  
• Continuously refine and optimize solutions to maximize ROI, system performance, and operational efficiency.
  

Collaboration & Advisory Role

• Work closely with consultants, project managers, product teams, and service teams to align development efforts with product roadmaps and client delivery requirements.
  
• Act as a technical advisor by providing guidance on feasibility, technical risks, architecture, development approaches, and NetSuite best practices.
  
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Share knowledge with colleagues, mentor junior developers, and contribute to internal development standards and best practices.
  

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

• Stay current with NetSuite platform releases, SuiteCloud technologies, development frameworks, and ERP industry trends.
  
• Introduce modern development practices, tools, and processes such as version control, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment automation where appropriate.
  
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing products, integrations, customizations, and delivery methodologies.
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Kalpa’s technical architecture and NetSuite development standards.
  

Requirements

What You Bring

• 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and customizing solutions within the NetSuite ecosystem.
  
• Strong experience with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, REST/SOAP APIs, and NetSuite integrations.
  
• Experience designing and developing custom NetSuite solutions, workflows, scripts, reports, forms, and integrations.
  
• Strong understanding of software development principles, APIs, databases, integration patterns, and system architecture.
  
• Experience integrating NetSuite with external applications such as CRM, eCommerce, financial, logistics, and other business systems.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
  
• Understanding of ERP business processes and how technology can be used to improve operational efficiency.
  
• Experience working with version control, development environments, testing practices, and structured deployment processes.
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with consultants, clients, project managers, and technical teams.
  
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a remote, high-autonomy environment.
