WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own the architecture and technical direction of large-scale, distributed enterprise applications.
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available backend services primarily using Python.
  • Contribute to Java-based services and help evolve the overall platform architecture.
  • Drive architectural decisions, technical strategy, and engineering standards across teams.
  • Mentor engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and code reviews.
  • Champion software craftsmanship through clean architecture, automated testing, security, observability, and operational excellence.
  • Leverage modern AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to accelerate development, improve software quality, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance engineering productivity while applying sound engineering judgment.
  • Drive continuous improvements in developer experience, platform capabilities, automation, reliability, and operational excellence.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field with 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in Python backend development with good working knowledge of Java.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, REST APIs, and modern software architecture principles.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, observability, production troubleshooting, and application security.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, messaging systems, caching technologies, and asynchronous processing.
  • Proven ability to design scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available enterprise systems.
  • Experience using modern AI development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or similar) to improve engineering productivity while maintaining high standards for quality, reliability, and security.
  • Experience with React and TypeScript, GraphQL, or enterprise SaaS platforms is a plus.
  • Exposure to AI/LLM-powered applications, developer productivity platforms, or contributions to open-source projects is desirable.
  • Excellent communication, technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

    Strong architectural thinking with the ability to balance long-term vision and pragmatic execution.
