Job description

CaptainBook.io is a TravelTech startup based in Naxos Island, Greece. We are connecting tours, activities and experiences provider to trusted local resellers globally. We are finalising our pre-seed round and are looking for talent to join our team.

The team: CEO Jerome Bajou has build 6 companies, in tech, and hospitality. He has even been running a sailing tour business! COO Luca Lattanzio has built 3 companies, and has a great experience in technical sales.

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to build APIs, front-ends and tolls to power our core products.

Qualifications

  • Full stack web development, including Laravel/Livewire/TailwindCSS/AlpineJS
  • Experience with webpack, phpunit or pest, and at least some experience in vanilla Javascript (ES6+)
  • Expertise with cloud services, such as AWS is a plus
  • Experience designing, building and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Able to work independently, move fast, and deliver results in a remote setting
  • Growth-oriented and collaborative mindset
  • Expertise in building highly available production services, monitoring and scaling
  • Fluency in English
