Job Description

As an expert in automation, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing test automation for some of our biggest clients. You will have an opportunity to share your knowledge with others and offer guidance to those that would like to learn / improve their skills in QA Automation / Test Automation.

• You will define scope and functional areas of automated test scripts, create traceability matrices, specify methods of testing, identify appropriate testing tools and techniques

• You will be responsible for scoping, implementing, and updating automation testing framework using Selenium Webdriver (Python).

• You will be responsible for integration of automated framework with Test management and CI tools.

• You will identify gaps in documentation and business requirements. Identifies testable/not testable areas and performs the development of the test scripts required for the project.

• You will work closely with the project management and technology teams to define test scope, timelines, and plan activities for the upcoming iterations.

• You will outline the scope of changes to be implemented in automated tests based on changes to the application.

• You will execute automated tests, review test execution results, and provide result reports to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• You are proficient with Selenium Webdriver ( or Python) with 4+years’ experience

• You have demonstrated experience with scoping, designing and implementing automated test processes

• You have experience setting up and managing QA tools and test devices for projects, particularly those required for test automation

• You have worked with tools such as Appium, Jenkins, Mocha, Git, Docker, and Sauce Labs along with HP Quality Center and/or Jira

• You have worked in Agile development environments

• Deep knowledge of web technologies, web design, internet protocols, operating systems, and relational databases:

• You are able to explain the principles of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, HTTP methods, HTTP response codes etc. (Required)

• You are able to read HTML code and should demonstrate knowledge of HTML tags. (Required)

• You are capable of reading and writing simple SQL queries. (Required)

• You are proficient in setting up and generating test development and execution reports
