Job description

Client

An existing ICG client is looking for a technical architect to help them build their IT strategy. They would like this strategy and its communication to be equally compelling to advisers, licensees, and their customers.

Role

The successful consultant will have 10+ years experience working in the financial planning industry in technical roles

They will have a keen understanding of the major platforms in the marketplace based on previous RFIs and RFPs

Key Deliverables:

  • Development of a technology strategy pack (current-state, baseline, target-state, roadmaps and blueprints)
  • Development of business engagement, stakeholder management and process improvement packs
  • Work with an audiovisual team to develop a series of video presentations of the material for external stakeholders
Skills and experiencerequired:
  • Deep and broad expertise in financial planning technology in Australia
  • Highly proficient presentation and communication skills
  • Stakeholder engagement skills at CEO-1 level and below
  • Multiple and recent RFI and RFP experience or other work which exposed you to the current supplier landscape and installed base
  • Experience gained through similar engagements with large financial services organisations in Australia
  • Skilled at keeping pace with new technology developments and working with various FinTechs
Logistics

Start date:Immediate, duration expected to be 3-4 weeks  

Location: Sydney based client but can work remotely

Rates:  The daily rate to the consultant will be negotiable but up to NET $2,000 + GST and any pre-approved expenses for the right professional   ​
