Client


An ICG client is looking for suitably qualified and experienced consultants to deliver private finance advisory services to assist with project development of Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) - from concept stage to construction ready.


Role


Work with the ICG Government Practice Lead to review the Client Tender/Scope of Work and develop an ICG Response


As part of the ICG response:

  • Identify and provide overviews of the key personnel proposed, including capabilities and experience delivering these services
  • Methodology and approach for effective delivery of the Services including financial assessment and modelling;
  • Understanding of the policy and regulatory context (planning legislation, NSW Electricity Roadmap and frameworks under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020);
  • Approach to appropriately resourcing the Services and ensuring continuity of key personnel through the engagement; and
  • Track record in working in integrated program offices with other organisations.

Key Deliverables:

  • ICG Tender Response document to be submitted to the client
  • Questions to be submitted as required to the client to ensure that the ICG Response fully understands and meets the client’s objectives
  • Q&A sessions with the client to ensure the value to be delivered by ICG and why the client should select ICG over other Service Providers
  • If successful with the tender, mobilise the required resources to deliver the 
    services for the client (to be outlined as part of the tender response) the successful candidate will support an ICG team to prepare a proposal response and earn sales commission as well as full execution fees.


Skills and experience required:

  • Essential: Experience with working on tender response documents
  • Essential: Understanding of the policy and regulatory context (planning legislation, NSW Electricity Roadmap and frameworks under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020), and the key issues as they pertain to Renewable Energy Projects
  • Essential: Experience of working with Small Medium Enterprises (SME) and able to develop an SME and Local Participation Plan
  • Desirable: Experience of developing Aboriginal Participation Plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplined and complex project team, supported by examples of the provision of similar services for significant project by case studies.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing services of a similar nature within the last 5-years.
  • Demonstrated experience with project governance, risk management, timing, project scale, resource continuity and relationship management.

Start dateImmediate Duration:  1 week to develop the tender response document, project duration to be confirmed as part of the response to be submitted to the client


Location: Tender response Sydney/Remote. Project Delivery Sydney/New England

Rate: The compensation for this will be based on ICG’s standard commission rates, to be covered in detail with the suitable candidate
