QA Engineer

Toplent helps companies scale faster by connecting them with exceptional remote professionals from SEA, LATAM, and South Africa. We are currently collaborating with a client who is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join their team on a remote full-time basis.

💼 Responsibilities:

• 🧪 Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test plans to ensure product quality
• 🔍 Identify, document, and track bugs, and collaborate closely with developers to resolve issues
• ⚙️ Develop and maintain automated test scripts across web, mobile, and API platforms
• 📊 Create and manage test documentation, including test cases, test data, and defect reports
• 🚀 Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure QA integration within the SDLC
• 🔧 Perform regression, performance, integration, and user acceptance testing as needed
• 🤝 Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables
• 📈 Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks for efficiency and scalability

🛠️ Required Skills:

• 👩‍💻 Strong experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG)
• 💬 Excellent communication and documentation skills to clearly report issues and quality metrics
• 🧮 Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• 🔌 Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
• ☁️ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• 📱 Experience testing web and mobile applications across multiple platforms and browsers
• ✅ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail
• 🔒 Knowledge of best practices for secure coding and testing, including OWASP guidelines
• 📂 Previous experience in agile environments and working with distributed remote teams
