About the Job:

We are looking for a Backend Java Developer to join our client's team in the fintech industry. The role involves developing, maintaining, and improving backend systems that power financial products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, ensure system reliability, and deliver high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot).
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and product teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Maintain and enhance database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in Java development (preferably with Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
• Strong understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and database management.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in agile or fintech environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) is an advantage.
• Experience with unit testing and performance tuning for backend systems.
