About the role:

Trusted Media Brands is seeking a VP of Programmatic & AdOps. You will help to maximize revenue opportunities and optimize efficiencies in our ad tech, SPO, and ad operations. You will work very closely with Ad Operations, Engineering and Ad Product groups.
You are a highly collaborative, and self-motivated leader with extensive experience in Programmatic Operations and Ad Technology. 

Responsibilities: your day-day:
  • Work directly with Programmatic vendors on new product releases and rollouts
    • Understanding the evolving technology for programmatic across open auction, PMP, PG - Including things like header bidders, server-side vs client side, and making recommendations/creating test plans
    • Working with ad product manager and tech team to implement
  • Evaluate current and new programmatic vendors and make recommendations/creating test plans
    • Working with ad product manager and tech team to implement
  • Vet new programmatic business/partnership opportunities
    • Deeply understand the “health” of our bidder partners, to help optimize and troubleshoot all connections
  • Understand levers to pull to drive improved results and making recommendations/creating test plans
  • Demonstrate a good pulse of the market and shifting trends, and pivot operations and the ad stack accordingly
  • Work with ad sales to make sure any changes to programmatic can accommodate PMP and PG deals
  • Evaluate video programmatic as part of overall programmatic as well as stand-alone or unique implementation and making recommendations/creating test plans
    • Working with video product manager and tech team to implement
  • Monitor and maintain ad quality across our portfolio of sites including working in an Ad Quality platform and maintain block lists
  • Provide Quality Assurance for all site and app releases by working directly with Product teams to understand release schedules and all updates that have the potential to impact programmatic revenue
    • Maintain Ads.txt files and additional compliance and transparency initiatives
  • Be the technical liaison with product and engineering teams including programmatic representative for all
    • Responsible for header-bidding optimization and updates while working closely with analytics team to monitor impact of all updates 
Qualifications: you have:
  • At least 8 years of experience
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager (DFP) or other Ad Servers
  • Understanding of programmatic ecosystems and platforms such as Google, Magnite or Index Exchange
  • Strong knowledge of web debugging with tools such as Charles and Chrome Developer Tools
  • Experience working with Product and Engineering teams including with JIRA is a positive
  • Ability to address problems with a data driven approach: strong Excel skills and experience with BI tools are an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience and success in conducting client meetings
