Responsibilities

  • Pull property lists and related records from county databases based on established search criteria.
  • Research and identify property owners and relevant ownership information using multiple sources.
  • Cross-reference information from different databases to improve data accuracy and completeness.
  • Clean, verify, standardize, and organize property and owner data before it is provided to the outreach team.
  • Consolidate information from multiple sources into structured Excel spreadsheets and prospecting lists.
  • Review records carefully for duplicates, missing information, inconsistencies, and other data-quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate formatting and organization across prospecting databases and spreadsheets.
  • Prepare completed datasets so the outreach team can efficiently use them for prospecting activities.
  • Conduct additional real estate and property research as requested.
  • Keep research and data-entry assignments organized and complete them within established deadlines.
  • Provide occasional follow-up support with clients or other contacts when needed.
  • Communicate clearly when information cannot be verified or additional research is required.
  • Work proactively and independently while keeping the team informed of progress, issues, and completed assignments.

Requirements

  • Fluent professional English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong data-entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong online research capabilities and the ability to locate information across multiple sources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for organizing, cleaning, sorting, and managing data.
  • Confidence using Google and other online research tools.
  • Ability to navigate unfamiliar websites and databases independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent information.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented approach to assigned tasks.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-intensive research while maintaining consistent accuracy.
  • Data-driven mindset with an emphasis on accuracy, implementation, measurement, and results.
  • Strong communication skills for occasional follow-ups and internal coordination.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in data entry, internet research, lead research, list building, or data management.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and large volumes of structured information.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, validate, and organize information from multiple online sources.
  • Previous real estate research, property research, or real estate data experience is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Experience navigating U.S. county property records, assessor databases, tax records, or similar public-record systems is a strong plus.
  • Experience preparing prospect lists or supporting lead-generation/outreach teams is beneficial.
  • Comfortable learning new county databases, property terminology, and research processes.

Benefits

  • Part-time position.
  • 100% remote.
  • Opportunity to work with an established business operating in the U.S. real estate investment industry.
